Finding Focus Webinar: Executive Function
OBC's newest project - this webinar looks at Executive Function and how these skills impact how children learn and develop. With guest speaker Dr. Alanna Staton (from the Dr. Lana series), we will look at what this is, the current research around executive function, as well as strategies you can use to support students.
Multiliteracies
Presented as a parent workshop for members of my school community wanting to learn a little more about how Multiliteracies meet the needs of our 21st Century students, this workshop unpacks a little of the history of this pedagogy and provides participants with an overview of its importance in today's classrooms.
This workshop was initially shared in China - all the resources are therefore translated with help from my colleague Vivian Deng (thank you Vivian!). If you would like these resources without translation or if you have another language you would like added, let me know and we can discuss options.

Effective Communication
Another parent workshop presented at school with 2 delightful colleagues, Dr. Lana and Vivian Deng. This was a popular topic within our community and one that arose out of what teachers and counsellors were seeing on campus - a desire by both parents and our students to have better lines of communication within the family.
