Working in IB World Schools (International Baccalaureate®) since 2007 has given me the opportunity to create a number of student-friendly guides to help learners meet the challenges of the MYP (Middle Years Programme) and DP (Diploma Programme). Each one of these guides came about through collaboration with some incredible educators I've met along the way.

The Ultimate Personal Project Guide has been recently updated to reflect the changes made by the IBO to the Personal Project experience. There are plenty of tips, places to explore ideas and ways to reflect inside this guide that can support both your students and staff.

DP Extended Essay Guide
100 Days of EE
100 Days of EE is another collaborative project with Alan Barbee, librarian extraordinaire. This guide uses the 3 main reflections that need to be submitted with the Extended Essay to organize the experience for students. Alan felt that students should be able to complete their EE in 100 days (not consecutively - that's just nuts) if they followed this plan.

DP CAS Guide
Discover CAS
Discover CAS is a very recent project that came about due to a request from a colleague, Eric Mitzel, who wanted to improve how we support and document what we do for CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) with our DP students. As with all first editions, it will need to be revisited before we are completely happy with it. This year we will work with our students through the guide and then get their feedback on what worked and what didn't.
